Harold Jackson Jr. of Boiling Springs and Judy Jackson of Shelby announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Mae Jackson, to Robert Neil Clary.
A Sept 20, 2008, wedding is planned for 4 p.m. at Green River Plantation.
About the bride-elect: Heather is the granddaughter of Evelyn Jackson of Shelby, the late Harold Jackson Sr., the late Mae Hardin Jackson and the late Clifford and Lillian Putnam. She is a graduate of Shelby High School and Limestone College. She is a first grade teacher at Piedmont Community Charter School.
About the future bridegroom: Robert is the son of Ruby Clary of Shelby and the late Austin Clary. He is the grandson of the late Brack and Mary Jane Ashley and the late Blando and Myrtle Clary. He is a graduate of Crest High School and Gardner-Webb University. He is employed by Piedmont Components.
