The following trips are planned by the Neal Center in Shelby.

- March 26-27, Cherokee ' Casino & Bingo
Harrah's Casino presents Tribal Bingo Enterprise, an Enterprise of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. All prizes awarded in cash ' Newly renovated facility ' 1,000 seating capacity ' Large concession. Must have Photo I.D. Bus departs from Senior Center Wednesday 8 a.m. and will be back in Shelby Thursday, approximately 5 p.m. Must have reservations by February 30th with $50 deposit.
Cost: $99.00 per person double, Includes: 1 Lunch & Cont. Breakfast & Hotel

- April 4, 2008, Friday, Augusta, Ga
Augusta is known worldwide for the 'Masters' and the coveted green jacket; you'll find that Georgia's second-oldest and largest city is also known as the 'Garden City of the South'. August is full of history, atmosphere, southern charm and activities to engage everyone's interest. Discover the historic charm of the classic south with Augusta's tree-lined streets and majestic antebellum mansions. We will visit the Cotton Exchange Building, tour one of the homes, explore Riverwalk and have dinner at the famous Sconyers BBQ ' who served the White House for Jimmy Carter. Depart at 7:30 am and back to Shelby 9:30 approx.

- April 26, 2008, Saturday, Merlefest
MerleFest 2008 ' 21st Annual Festival ' Music ' Moments ' Momories ' has been planned with an emphasis on green-spaces and an enhanced shopping experience. Visit the Shoppes at MerleFest, a centrally located shopping village featuring demonstrating artisans, vendors, convenience foods, official MerleFest memorabilia, and services such as the MerleFest Post Office, first aid, lost and found, and internet access. Depart at 7:30 am and back to Shelby 7 p.m. approx.

- May 13-15, Savannah/Charleston
Trip includes:
- Dinner at Paula Deen's ' Lady and Sons.
- Trolley Tour of Savannah
